Winners in the 2024 Australian Good Food Guide Chef Hat Awards have been announced, with 46 South Australian restaurants receiving recognition in the annual awards program.
Restaurant Botanic took out the most hats in SA, with Hentley Farm, Penfolds Magill Estate & Hardy’s Verandah closely following.
AGFG National Operations Manager, Joseph Steele says the awards are more than just a list of names.
“We’re toasting to the relentless pursuit of excellence, the unyielding passion for flavour and the sheer audacity to redefine what dining means in Australia”, says Steele.
“Each awarded Chef and their team represents a unique chapter in the diverse cookbook of Australian cuisine”
“Their kitchens are more than just the sum of their ingredients; they are sanctuaries of creativity, where traditional flavours mingle with bold new techniques to create dishes that are as delightful to the palate as they are to the eye”.
