Flawlessly presenting a contemporary take on traditional French cuisine, Garcon Bleu has cemented itself as one of Adelaide’s premium dining experiences.
Aside from their mouth-watering breakfast and dinner offerings, the restaurant’s express lunch option has proved popular with those looking for a quick bite that’s still long on flavour.
Garcon Bleu Head Chef, Gianni Delogu says their lunch menu was designed specifically for business people or those looking for an ‘in and out’ option.
“We offer a quick and tasty French-inspired menu which is perfect for a busy city centre restaurant, because corporate diners can still come in during their lunch break”, says Gianni.
Located on Level 9 of Adelaide’s Sofitel Hotel, the menu incorporates seasonal produce, sourced from around Australia.
“You can still enjoy the classic Garcon Bleu offering by choosing from our a la carte menu, which is an extended menu available during lunch”
“We are proud to offer dishes that cater towards vegetarian and vegan diners as well”, says Gianni.
Featured dishes include their Bouillabaisse, a French, fish-based stew incorporating locally sourced seafood, as well as their Le Papillion, a venison dish with beetroot and fermented mustard seeds.
Their Western Australian Marron has also proved to be extremely popular with diners.
“We are currently going through 20kg weekly of fresh marron – we use the whole crustacean, from head to the tail, and it’s served with a delicate bisque sauce”
Elegant and uncomplicated, dishes are perfectly complemented with a selection from their Sommelier curated drinks list.
“Our extensive wine list has a great selection of French and Australian wines that can be paired beautifully with any dish”, says Gianni.
Fresh, fast and French, Garcon Bleu’s express lunch menu is the perfect weekday meal, whether it be for a catch up with colleagues, a brief business meeting or a quick bite with friends.
Their seasonally evolving menu means there’s always something new and appetizing to discover, so ensure to book your next lunch date at Adelaide’s premier French restaurant.
