I
became a proud South Australian
restaurateur in 1993, and I’ve always
been an enthusiastic fan of the
chefs and restaurants in this state.
There’s something about
Adelaide, and the surrounding dining
destinations in locations such as the
beachside eateries and in the wine
regions. Dining here is accessible and
relaxing. Adelaide is easy to get around,
with so much on offer so close to the
centre of town, and regional wining and
dining is within reach of a short drive or
taxi ride.
Adelaide is also a town of opportunity
for young chefs with a strong creative
drive and, at the same time, we value
tradition, so our fine dining experiences
combine modern flair with respect for the
complexities of technique and the food
heritage we have built through the many
cultures and cuisines brought here by
settlers and migrants over the centuries.

welcome/
Of course, we’re also blessed with
fantastic produce here. It’s a simple
equation really: great produce, creative
chefs and every possible dining option
you can think of, from tiny bars where
you can enjoy a snack and a glass of
great wine to special occasion fine dining,
and you can always find a glorious spot
on the seaside or in the countryside
to soak up the ambience and colour
around you.
In Adelaide and South Australia, you
can eat light or make a real meal of it.
Our restaurateurs, café owners, publicans
and providores will all be delighted to
make your Adelaide dining experience
one to remember.
Enjoy!
