South Australia’s only deluxe guided tour company for women is preparing for big things as they head into the warmer months.

Wanderlust Willunga is set to capitalise on the travel trend of female-only tours over summer, offering immersive itineraries tailored to groups of women in one of Australia’s most exciting regions – McLaren Vale.

Itineraries are created from a choice of over 50 experiences and guests can discover the best of South Australia by exploring vineyards or the local farmers market, cooking with regional produce, enjoying outdoor adventures and much more.

Founder, Camilla Dickinson says women that are curious and fabulous are among those that revel in the experience.

“They want something more from a day out and find our tours connect them with like-minded women which results in the sharing of lots of stories, heaps of laughs and coming away feeling restored”, says Camilla.

A gateway to SA’s Fleurieu Peninsula, the McLaren Vale region is a sensational destination for international, interstate and local guests alike, with world-class food and wine, stunning landscapes and a beautiful coastline.

Camilla’s local expertise of the area and personal relationships sees curated days out with offerings from more than 70 female-led local businesses, with passionate and knowledgeable hosts who are dedicated to creating memorable experiences for their guests.

Wanderlust Willunga proves perfect for friends, family or colleagues seeking connection, relaxation and fun amongst a stunning South Australian setting.

On offer this summer are two exclusive tours that each include a deluxe mini bus transfer from Adelaide and guided tour at just $295 per person.

The first, their champagne & seafood by the seaside tour starts with a sparkling discovery session at Fall From Grace with host and owner Margot Muir, who shares the stories of four different champagne regions, featuring a tasting that’s accompanied by a selection of delicious canapés – this is then followed by a long lunch and stunning wines at the renowned Star of Greece restaurant.

The signature tour sees guests arrive at Oliver’s Taranga for an immersive wine experience, before heading to a tasting at Vigna Bottin with its owner, and enjoying a multi-course lunch with accompanying wines – then, head on to meet one of the region’s youngest and talented winemakers at mother-daughter run Ortus Wines for another beautiful wine encounter.

Liaise with the Wanderlust team to create your own custom tour suited to your needs – and, if you’d prefer to explore McLaren Vale beyond its food offering, there’s always one of their art & culture, First Nations, or wellness & nature tours to choose from.
