OZIN, a unique fine dining experience blending the best of local ingredients with international flavours, has opened its doors on East Terrace in Adelaide’s CBD.

Named for its fusion of “OZ” (representing the best of Australian local ingredients) and “IN” (symbolising international cuisine), OZIN offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience, where charcoal-flavoured cuisine takes centre stage.

The restaurant brings the rich, smoky essence of charcoal to a diverse menu of world flavours, creating a sensory experience that marries history with innovation.

Located in a heritage property built in the 1920s that once housed popular cafe East Terrace Continental, the venue itself is a stunning blend of history and modernity.

The original floor and exterior wall tiling from the property’s early days serve as a nod to the past while offering an elegant, contemporary atmosphere that showcases the rich character of the building.

OZIN’s Co-Owner Neeraj Kumar says the venue is much more than just a restaurant.

“It’s an exploration of global culinary traditions, with a focus on high-quality local ingredients and the rich flavours that come from charcoal cooking”, says Neeraj.

“It celebrates the diverse flavours of the world, while embracing Adelaide’s rich food culture, and a space that brings people together to share in something truly special. We offer both a cultural journey and a sensory delight.”

At the helm is Chef Vicky, whose career spans 25 years and includes experience across India, Germany, Dubai, Kuwait, and Australia.

Having worked with an array of international cuisines and in a celebrity restaurant in Dubai, Chef Vicky brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to the kitchen, crafting a menu that is as diverse as it is delicious.

From expertly charred meats and vegetables to mouth-watering global flavours, each meal at OZIN promises to be a culinary adventure.

The cocktails on offer are an integral part of the dining experience – expertly crafted to complement the signature charcoal-infused dishes, each cocktail is designed to elevate the flavours of the meal, creating a harmonious blend of smoky, bold, and refreshing notes.
