Bask in tranquil vineyard views at Mitolo Wines Bocca di Lupo restaurant and tasting room in McLaren Vale, which opened its doors in late 2017. Crafted from upcycled shipping containers, the architectural design evokes both luxury and impermanence through the use of concrete, timber and glass. With seating for up to 70 guests, the restaurant’s flexible floor plan allows for both spacious function areas and cosy, intimate dining.
The Arbor offers a semienclosed outdoor event space, perfect for private functions, corporate events and weddings of up to 200 people. Head chef Tom Jack’s style is a complex fusion of modern Australian, subtle Asian combined with an underlying contemporary Italian influence. Each dish is prepared with fresh local seasonal produce. Enjoy looking out to the vineyards and Willunga ranges over a five or eight course degustation with or without paired wines. Or select from the a la carte menu (two courses or three courses minimum).
For the complete experience, make sure to include a visit to Mitolo’s tasting room, where their expert team will take you on a journey through one of three structured tasting experiences, served with a tasting plate from the kitchen, whilst sharing the unique story of each Mitolo Wine.
