Ambra Spirits has celebrated its 25 year anniversary in spectacular style, with a grand reopening of their Thebarton cellar door, revealing its stunning new renovations and a revamped food and cocktail menu.

Founded in 1998 by the late Libero De Luca, Ambra has long been renowned for their diverse range of citrusy liqueurs and spirits such as their signature limoncello, with each beverage carefully crafted from authentic Italian family recipes passed down over generations.

Along with having a well-stocked online store, Ambra also boasts a beautiful distillery located in the quaint suburban streets of Thebarton, just a stone’s throw away from the CBD.

Recent renovations include two new spacious outdoor eating areas, a fully refurbished kitchen, a stylish bar and a private function room perfect for intimate special events.

Ambra’s new food offering focuses on traditional Italian tapas-style dishes, made to share, that are complemented beautifully by their signature zesty liqueurs and spirits.

Dishes range from fresh seafood such as oysters, crispy calamari rings and prosciutto-wrapped prawns, to arancini balls and antipasto platters of prosciutto, cheeses and bread sticks.

Accompanying this refreshed menu is an assortment of cocktail creations that showcase some of Ambra’s most popular liqueurs and gins.

The “Lemon Icey” cocktail is a deliciously creamy mix of Ambra Limoncello, lemongrass and lime oleo.

For those who prefer a tangy gin, the “Melon Swizzle” cocktail combines Ambra Watermelon Mint Gin, Ambra Blood Orange Liqueur, sour watermelon juice and mint.

For a caffeine-filled pick-me-up, the “Cafe Coco” cocktail blends Ambra’s Cappuccino Liqueur and vodka with coffee and decadent miso caramel.
